One of the wonderful things about Jesus is that he loved being with people; men, women, children, rich and poor alike. In fact he gathered together a most unlikely community, made up of very different people. Yet, because he was at the centre, this unlikely community found a sense of togetherness in being with Jesus.
St Barnabas is a local Church of England parish church in
As a local parish church we want to be rooted among the people of this diverse neighbourhood and we’d love you to be able to know about us. But we’d love to be able to get to know you too, so you are always welcome at any of our regular worship services. We’d be delighted to meet you in person.
Life brings us to important milestones along the way. You can use this site to find out more about how we might support you in the time of significant life events such milestones as Baptism, Weddings and Bereavements.
Information can also be found on this website about any upcoming events and special services. Many local people use our church hall through the week for community activities and you may be interested to know what’s going on locally. You may also want to enquire about hiring the hall. If you are new to this area you may find some of the information on the Our Community page to be of interest.
We hope that you find what you are looking for, if you don’t or if we can help in any other way, please do contact us. We welcome you to St Barnabas and look forward to seeing you at one of our events or services.
